I’m busy preparing for my upcoming presentation at the Association of Bridal Consultants’ Annual Conference in Southern Indiana in November! My topic is “Growing and Diversifying Your Business,” and I can’t wait to share insights on this very important subject.

This topic was originally scheduled for the 2020 Annual Conference, which was postponed due to the pandemic. But in the extra year that I’ve had to prepare my presentation, I’ve actually been inspired to change my focus a bit. While my three main takeaways will remain the same, I’ve shifted my approach. The takeaways will be:

  • Discussion of products and services you can add to your business based on your existing skills
  • How to determine your limits in terms of finance and resources
  • How to balance your growth, including setting up systems for your business(es) and adding staff

In addition to my own experiences with adding “jobs” to my resume over the years, I will incorporate the experiences of several of my fellow Master Wedding Planners. My hope is that these real-life situations can inspire our attendees to explore new avenues of growth.
